A Current Affair had 683,000 as the limousine driver at the centre of Sydney’s latest COVID-19 outbreak spoke out.
With no regular-season NRL on Nine this week due to the State of Origin, the broadcaster aired a night of procedural reality TV in RBT(419,000), Paramedics (334,000), and Kings Cross ER (295,000).
Seven TV Ratings
Seven was the top primary channel (22.5%) and network (34.0%) last night thanks to its winning combo of Home and Away and the AFL across its metro markets.
Home and Away aired three episodes across its primary channel and 7TWO last night with an average of 499,000 for the first two eps and 412,000 for the later episode. Home and Away also powered 7TWO to the top multichannel spot last night, helping the channel produce a share of 5.3%.
The AFL had a healthy 582,000 as the Brisbane Lions handled the Geelong Cats to the tune of 94-50. The match was the #1 non-news program last night with 297,000 coming from Melbourne and 107,000 from Brisbane.
10 TV Ratings
The Project had 264,000 (6:30pm) and 418,000 (7:00pm) as the show covered the growing Covid outbreak in NSW, the new laws recognising pregnancy loss, and Brittany Spears speaking out on her conservatorship.
MasterChef had 541,000 as Sabina won immunity after the chefs had to keep up with Curtis Stone as he cooked his roast chicken with fondant potatoes and marsala sauce live from Los Angeles on the big screen. The MasterChef Masterclass then had 366,000 viewers.
ABC TV Ratings
Foreign Correspondent had 430,000 viewers up slightly from the 429,000 last week, as the show continues to be up week on week in the four weeks that it has spent on Thursday nights.
Although its Thursday night partner Q+A hasn’t stayed on an upward trajectory after slipping back under 300,000 viewers this week.
SBS TV Ratings
The top non-news show on SBS was a repeat of Great Asian Railway Journeys with 136,000.
Original Aussie drama The Unusual Suspects had 74,000.
