Seven

Seven was the top network last night with a share of 32.7%. This was thanks to a huge multichannel share of 9.6% on 7mate which hosted a bulk of the Paralympics coverage.

The Paralympics ran from 12pm-4pm on Channel Seven before switching to 7mate for the rest of the day. The event has started out strong for Seven with the top rating session coming during the night with 374,000 viewers.

Home and Away was the #1 entertainment program on Seven last night with 637,000 viewers tuning in.

This was then followed by the second episode of Seven’s new factual reality series Nurses with 421,000. This is the second week that Seven has aired the show in the prized 7:30pm slot after it had 500,000 in its launch last week.

The third episode of the new Aussie drama RFDS then had 465,000 which follows the 513,000 that the show had last week after launching with 604,000 three weeks ago.

Nine

Nine had the top primary share last night with 19.8%.

The Block is continuing its four-episode a week strategy, and it has paid off with 668,000 tuning in to make it the top non-news show of the night

The episode saw Georgia walk off in frustration after she and Ronnie feared the design they came up with for their kitchen had to be changed when a support pole suddenly appears in the middle of the room.

This was then followed by Nine’s factual reality series Paramedics with the second episode of the third season bringing in 449,000 viewers.

Australian Crime Stories then had 160,000 across Sydney and Brisbane as the show examined who some call Australia’s Hannibal Lecter, Derek Percy.

Footy Classified aired in the Melbourne markets with 118,000 tuning in.

The Project had 267,000 (6:30pm) and 479,000 (7:00pm) as the show covered another record day of new case numbers in NSW, as the Premier has sent a signal that some freedoms will return soon. The show then discussed how health experts are worried that relaxing things could overwhelm hospitals. 

On the Bachelor, Brooke’s caused drama and Ash and Lily were sent home. Carlie, Jay, Holly and Brooke have made it to the final four and will do the hometown trips.

ABC

Hard Quiz has continued its strong return with 568,000 viewers tuning in to see who will win the Big Brass Mug.

The second episode of Question Everything then followed with 453,000 viewers, this was down on its launch audience of 570,000.

Rosehaven has continued to release its final season with 371,000 viewers tuning in last night.

SBS

The top program on SBS was What Does Australia Really Think About with 240,000 viewers.
