Isentia has announced the acquisition of content marketing company King Content. The acquisition further diversifies Isentia’s services across owned and earned media in one of the fastest growing segments of the communications and marketing industries.
Isentia has paid $48m for the business, with 60% upfront in cash.
King Content is headquartered in Sydney, with a blue-chip client portfolio and a presence across the globe, with offices in Melbourne, Singapore, Hong Kong, London and New York. The company has experienced exceptional revenue growth and multiple major global corporate client wins in 2015.
CEO and managing director of Isentia, John Croll, said: “King Content has a lot of similarities to Isentia, it is an Australian-born business that has become a world leader in a dynamic and exciting industry with a total focus on the client and their needs, providing comprehensive and fully supported content solutions. This acquisition provides a great fit for our existing clients, with further opportunities to extend our relationships into the marketing channel and access new clients across the region and globe.”
King Content CEO and founder Craig Hodges said: “We are delighted to become part of one of the most dynamic public companies in the communications and information space. This gives us the solid base to be able to capitalise on our recent rapid growth, scale the business rapidly and take full advantage of the continuing revolution in corporate content creation and content strategy across the globe.”
