Total TV ratings October 30
UK dram Grantchester was the top non-news program in the total TV ratings for October 30. The show increased its overnight audience on the ABC by 22% to bring it up to 841,000 viewers.
A repeat of Shetland also performed well for the ABC, up 10% to 429,000 viewers.
A Current Affair’s Saturday edition had 748,000 for Nine whiles Getaway also performed well with 474,000.
The Supercars’s Sydney SuperNight had 411,000 viewers. This was Seven’s first-ever night of the supercars on primetime.
Overnight TV ratings
The ICC T20 World Cup match on Fox Cricket featuring Australia v the West Indies had 192,000/224,000 viewers as the Aussies made the semi-finals.
Seven
Seven News had an average viewership of 724,000 viewers last night, falling behind Nine’s bulletin by under 10,000 viewers.
Seven has continued to air Harry Potter films with Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince bringing in 246,000 viewers at 7pm.
Nine
Nine News (734,000) was the top program of the night, edging out Seven News once again thanks to the strong lead-in provided by Getaway (341,000).
The Saturday edition of A Current Affair then had 563,000 before an encore of Bert Newton: Let Me Entertain You had 410,000 viewers.
Nine then continued its James Bond marathon with Quantum of Solace. The next film will be Skyfall on Friday night.

Making It Australia aired its Grand Finale last night with a crowd of 113,000 as makers had three hours to create a 3D invitation to a pop-up party. George Roppingly-Goode was crowned the winner of the season.
An encore of Dog House Australia then had 138,000.
ABC
Grantchester was the top non-news program of the night, with the UK drama bringing in 447,000 viewers.
This was followed by a repeat of Shetland with 249,000.
SBS
The non-news program on SBS last night was Celebrity Letters And Numbers with 98,000.
