• Australian Open semifinals wins primetime as BBL final brings in over 800k
Nine continues to reap the benefits of the Australian Open as it has become the top primary channel (29.1%) and network (36.5%) for the 12th consecutive day. The event continues to dominate prime time as its two night sessions were the top two non-news programs of the night, headlined by Danill Medvedev defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in the men’s semi-final.

Day Session: 556,000 (381,000 metro & 175,000 regional)
Night Session: 1,105,000 (796,000 & 309,000 regional)
Night Session 2: 1,174,000 (875,000 metro & 299,000 regional)
On Seven and Fox Cricket, the Big Bash League concluded its eleventh season of the short-form format as the Perth Scorchers easily denied the Sydney Sixers a historic three-peat in the BBL Final. The match had a total audience of 834,000 with 469,000 metro viewers, 234,000 regional viewers, and an average of 131,000 watching on Fox Cricket.
Earlier in the day on Seven the Women’s Ashes series second day of play had a top session of 107,000 metro viewers, which came in session 3.
On 10, The Project had 254,000 (6pm) and 311,000 (7pm) as the program discussed the PM commenting on the Grace Tame side-eye, and the bumper funding package that the Great Barrier Reef received.
On the ABC, Monty Don’s American Gardens had 284,000 viewers before a repeat of Midsomer Murders had 263,000 viewers.
The top non-news program on SBS was a repeat of Walking Britain’s Roman Roads which had 111,000 viewers.
