Upright celebrated the second season of the Foxtel Original Series with a star-studded red carpet premiere at the Enmore Theatre on Tuesday.
Tim Minchin, the executive producer, lead writer and star of the series, was joined by fellow cast members Jessica McNamee, Ella Scott Lynch, Travis Cotton and Nicholas Brown.
Ahead of the Upright premiere screening, Minchin worked the red carpet conducting interviews with media invited to the launch.

Stephens told Mediaweek the company had never been busier. With so many productions on the slate, the decision was either to scale back a little or find a major production studio to help manage their growth. They chose the latter.

Introducing the new episodes was Foxtel’s executive director of drama Brian Walsh. He then introduced cast members Minchin, co-star McNamee, producer Stephens which were interviewed by News Corp editor Sarrah Le Marquand.
Other Foxtel executives in attendance included chief commercial and content officer Amanda Laing and Foxtel executive director entertainment Marshall Heald.
After the three episodes had screened, Minchin returned to the stage to perform a song he had written for the second season with accompaniment from a vocalists and two instrumentalists.
The eight-episode season sees misfit duo Lucky (Minchin) and Meg (Milly Alcock) reunited after four years when Meg turns up unannounced. Lucky and Meg hit the road – and the river – on a mission to find Meg’s mum, trading the desert for the steamy tropics of Far North Queensland.
