Seven

Home and Away continues to provide a strong lead-in for the 7:30pm slot with an audience of 608,000 tuning in for its Tuesday night episode.

SAS Australia had 586,000 viewers as the recruits were asked to nominate the weakest among the group – unanimously voting Kerri Pottharst – the oldest recruit on the course at 55.

When it came to Kerri’s turn, she nominated Bonnie Anderson as the weakest recruit and the two became team leaders for the most punishing task yet – navigating a Zodiac boat three kilometres downriver, before a two-kilometre hike uphill, carrying the waterlogged boat and their Bergens.

Team leaders Kerri and Bonnie were given another chance to prove themselves, overseeing a kit inspection in a late-night test of order and discipline.

Kerri operated with renewed confidence, but ultimately let her team down by not having a full water bottle. As punishment, Team Alpha was forced to stand silent and motionless on the Parade Square for more than two hours.

The sci-fi movie Lucy then followed with 154,000 viewers.

Nine

Nine was the top primary channel (23.4%) and network (31.1%) last night thanks to A Current Affair, The Block, and The Hundred with Andy Lee.

The Block was the top non-news program of the night with 855,000 viewers. The episode featured a lip sync battle with the performances judged by Delta Goodrem and Shaynna Blaze.

Ronnie and Georgia were declared the winners and won the $5,000 prize, which also came with the bonus point Gnome. The pair performed a rendition of Sia‘s Chandelier. Georgia played the part of Sia with a face-covering wig and giant pink bow. While Ronnie burst out from the wings in the role of Maddie Ziegler, the young dancer in the clip, complete with skin-coloured leotard and blonde wig.

The episode was up on last week’s  829,000.

The Hundred with Andy Lee then followed with an audience of 505,000. The episode featured Mike Goldstein, Jean Kittson, and Dane Simpson with a special appearance from Kerri-Anne Kennerley. This episode was up on last week’s 412,000. This was also the highest rating episode of the show, beating 484,000 which the show had on its launch and also on September 7th.

A repeat of Travel Guides then took 301,000 viewers to Canberra.

10

The Project had 318,000 (6:00pm) and 536,000 (6:30pm) as the show covered vaccination protests from the construction industry, and spoke to comedian Jimmy Carr.

The Masked Singer had 654,000 viewers as Mahalia Barnes was unveiled as the fifth performer, with an average of 573,000 tuning in for the performances.

Hidden under a gigantic Pavlova head, the multi-platinum hit maker sung a beautiful rendition of Andra Day’s Rise Up, but it was no match for Vampire’s chilling and thrilling take on Holding Out For a Hero by Bonnie Tyler.

The guessing panel Dannii Minogue, Dave Hughes, Jackie O and Urzila Carlson were unable to detect Mahalia as the Pavlova and instead nominated pop singers Jojo and Gabriella Cilmi, along with Naomi Watts and Lucy Lawless.

The Cheap Seats then followed with 358,000.

ABC

The School That Tried to End Racism aired its first episode last night. The premier brought in a crowd of 256,000.

SBS

Who Do You Think You Are? was the top program on SBS with 184,000. The episode featured Troy Cassar-Daley.
