Total TV Ratings, September 29
Home and Away was the top entertainment program in the total TV ratings as the first two episodes of the soap averaged 879,000 viewers, up 29% on its overnight ratings. The third and final episode of the night had 834,000 viewers, up 27%.
Gogglebox was the top program on 10 with an audience of 775,000, up 32% on its overnight viewership. Earlier in the night on 10, The Amazing Race had 596,000, up 49%.
On Nine, RBT did the heavy lifting in primetime for the network with 636,000 viewers up 7%.

Nine had a comfortable win in the overnight TV ratings last night after producing both the #1 primary share (23.0%) and network share (30.1%). The driving force of this result was a rare Thursday night episode of The Block which brought in 670,000 viewers. The episode saw horrible weather and mud continue to create havoc on the construction site yet again.
On Seven, The Chase Australia (439,000) was the top entertainment program for the broadcaster overall, while Home and Away was the top entertainment program in primetime for the channel. The soap had an average of 428,000 across the first two episodes, and 413,000 in the third ep of the night.
On 10, The Real Love Boat had 174,000 viewers for the series’ second episode as it added another titillating bombshell to the titular boat. Gogglebox was the top show overall for 10 with 415,000 viewers tuning in at 8:30pm.
On the ABC, Foreign Correspondent had 349,000 viewers as the show went to Thailand. Q+A then followed with 232,000 viewers.
The top non-news program on SBS was World’s Most Scenic River Journeys with 99,000 viewers.
