TV ratings: Wednesday Week 43 2021
The Block was the top program in the total TV ratings with 1.522m, an increase of 27%. The episode saw the teams reunite with their family and reminisce about their journeys on the show.
Home and Away was the top program on Seven with 1,172m after increasing its overnight ratings by 19%.
Gruen and Hard Quiz were the top shows on the ABC with 1.125m and 931,000 respectively.
Love Island Australia (85%) and The Bachelorette (51%) were the big risers with both over 500k.

Home and Away was the top prime time non-news program on Seven with 533,000 viewers.
Big Brother VIP had 375,000 viewers as Danny Hayes returned while Omarosa was evicted from the house. This was down slightly on Tuesday’s 377,000.
America’s Got Talents seventh episode of auditions brought in 121,000 viewers.
Nine
A Current Affair had 714,000 viewers as the show covered the rescue of young Cleo Smith.
Parental Guidance had 536,000 viewers as the show had four challenges. The winners were routine parents Brett and Tony. Host, Ally Langdon said: “People saw the challenges you faced raising four boys the same age and you’ve been calm and you’ve brought humour to every challenge.”
Finding Cleo: A Nine News Special then aired, continuing the coverage of Cleo Smith, with 459,000 viewers tuning in.

The Project had 279,000 (6:30pm) and 391,000 (7:00pm) as the show joined in on coverage of the Cleo Smith story.
The Bachelorette then had 288,000 viewers as Brooke and Luca had a Top Gun themed single date with two separate military fighter planes. There was an obstacle course themed group date before the rose ceremony was cancelled due to Carrissa choosing to leave the mansion. This episode was up on last Wednesday’s 253,000 viewers.
The new four-part Australian drama, Lie With Me then premiered on 10, bringing in an audience of 151,000.

ABC
Hard Quiz and Gruen continue to be a winning combo for the ABC with both being the top two non-news programs of the night. Hard Quiz brought in 646,000 viewers at 8:00pm before Gruen followed with 642,000, as Christina Aventi and Sunita Gloster joined the panel.
SBS
The top program on SBS was a repeat of the Truth About Sleep with 209,000 viewers.
