Total TV Ratings for October 18, 2021
The Block was the top non-news program in the total TV ratings with 1.571m viewers, up 21%. The episode saw Chaos Week kick-off as Foreman Keith and Dan found issues with Mitch and Mark’s front yard renovations. Josh and Luke started Front Yard and Façade Week focused on last week’s problems after the judges’ scathing review of their study/fourth bedroom and Venetian plaster wall.
Home and Away was the top program on Seven with 1.175m after going up 20%, while SAS Australia: Hell Week had 630,000 viewers.
The top program on 10 was Have You Been Paying Attention? with 1.076m. The episode featured Mick Molloy, Julia Morris, and Denise Scott.
Celebrity Masterchef had 845,000 viewers as Nick Riewoldt and Rebecca Gibney competed as a team to win this week’s immunity challenge.
Love Island Australia was up 81% to 656,000 viewers.

Nine had another comfortable win last night with the top primary channel share (20.0%) and network share (29.9%).
A Current Affair had 736,000 viewers as the show put together a sting with Queensland man Greg Sharam to catch out a “bitumen bandit” targeting small business owners.
Parental Guidance aired its first episode, bringing in 629,000 viewers. The episode saw the parents undergo a series of challenges but the largest tension point that emerged amongst the parents was the topic of spanking.
Love Island Australia then followed with 204,000.

Home and Away kicked off its week with 528,000 viewers after averaging 561,000 last week.
Big Brother VIP rolled out its red carpet as 12 celebrities entered the new look house/hotel. The episode didn’t take long to milk some major headlines from its international guests as Omarosa, Caitlyn Jenner, and Thomas Markle Jnr all spilled the beans on a range of topics including Donald Trump, Kanye West, OJ Simpson, and Meghan Markle. The premiere brought in an audience of 377,000 viewers.
The Jason Statham movie The Meg then followed with 116,000 viewers.

Celebrity Masterchef had 446,000 viewers as Nick Riewoldt won the Heston Blumenthal immunity challenge.
Have You Been Paying Attention? Had 561,000 viewers as actor Josh Lawson joined the panel alongside Alex Ward, Kitty Flanagan, Ed Kavalee and Sam Pang.

Australian Story had 529,000 viewers as former Olympian Jana Pittman talked about her new life as a doctor.
Four Corners then had 501,000 viewers as the show examined Australia’s rising housing market.
