Nine
Nine was the top primary channel last night with a 19.0% share.
Celebrity Apprentice had 595,000 as Lord Sugar tasked the celebs with creating a stage play at Sydney’s Seymour Centre to market a Boost Juice beverage.
When announcing the results Sugar said that there was a “bee’s d–k in it” with Team Momentum edging out the win. With a tough decision to make Sugar then made a surprising announcement.
“Do you know what, I’ve never done this ever, ever before. This goes against my principle, but you’re all off scot-free,” he announces as the room erupts in appreciative screams of delight.
“Get out of my way before I change my mind,” but added one more note that dampened the celebration.
“Next task, two people will be going home.”
This was followed by the second episode of Emergency, the show based on Royal Melbourne Hospital’s Emergency department with 306,000 viewers which was up slightly on last weeks launch audience of 302,000.
Then came Nine’s sports shows with Footy Classified bringing in 115,000 and 100% Footy having 59,000 viewers.
Seven
Seven was the top network last night with an 18.6% share with 7TWO and 7mate both having over a 3% share.
Big Brother had 590,000 viewers last night as Hell Week kicked off with the housemates through Big Brother’s day-long boot camp.
Big Brother then woke the housemates at 2.00am for a surprise nomination challenge, splitting them into two teams for a slip and slide battle. SJ and lovebirds Christina and Brenton found themselves nominated for eviction.
In the final count, Brenton was evicted and the lovers said their final goodbyes.
“This is the definition of hell week,” said Brenton. “Leaving after two weeks was not part of my plan. Being an intruder was really hard. Coming into these deep-seated relationships and tyring to crack them was difficult. Also being a physical threat didn’t help my chances in the eviction room today. It is hard to leave Christina behind because we had grown close to each other but I’m looking forward to catching her on the outside whenever the time comes.”
Home and Away was the top non-news show on Seven last night with 620,000 viewers.
