A Current Affair had 642,000 as the show covered the Covid-19 outbreak in Melbourne including vaccines and lockdown coverage. 

Nine‘s NRL coverage then had 387,000 viewers as the Melbourne Storm easily outclassed the Brisbane Broncos 40-12. The match was the #1 non-news program in both Sydney and Brisbane last night.

Seven

Seven aired three episodes of Home and Away last night with an average audience of 533,000 tuning in for the first two episodes with 478,000 tuning in for the final episode of the night.

The Front Bar had 350,000 last night with Syd Jackson replacing Stephen Michael due to Covid-19 complications. The show was the #1 non-news show in Melbourne last night.

The Project had 278,000 (6:30pm) and 465,000 (7pm) as the show covered the Melbourne lockdown as climate change activists getting a win over the government, and then examined if smartphones are spying on their users.

MasterChef was the #1 non-news program last night with an audience of 557,000 tuning in. Things heated up in the kitchen as Pete, Elise, Kishwar, Linda and Dan cooked for immunity using one of the eight hottest chillies in the world. Linda ended up getting the win and earning immunity.

In the season finale of Back Roads, Heather Ewart took 482,000 viewers to the tiny coastal town of Strahan in Tasmania.

Q+A followed with 276,000 viewers as the show covered the vaccine rollout, reconciliation and conflict in the Middle East. The panel was joined by Jennifer Robinson who is the lawyer for Julian Assange.

The top non-news program on SBS was The Handmaid’s Tale with 127,000 watching the latest episode from the show’s 4th season.
