Total TV Ratings, March 2
Married at First Sight (MAFS) continues to dominate the total TV ratings after once again being the top program for the night with 1.959m, up 51%. The episode featured the fourth dinner party of the season with most of the attention focusing on the crumbling marriage of Carolina and Dion, with it causing tension amongst the other couples.
Under Investigation then had 685,000 viewers for Nine, up 18%.
Home and Away was the top entertainment program for Seven with 983,000 (up 24%). This was followed by Police Strike Force which had 579,000 viewers for its series debut, up 13% on its overnight ratings.
On 10, Ambulance Australia had 443,000 viewers, up 15%.
Hard Quiz (1.085m, up 16%) and Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell (853,000, up 19%) both continue to perform well for the ABC.

Nine has secured another weekday win after finishing #1 in both primary channel share (26.7%) and network share (35.5%) last night. The top entertainment program for Nine was once again Married at First Sight (MAFS) which finished as the top non-news program of the night with 1.015m viewers, up on last week’s 967,000 viewers. MAFS was also #1 in all key demos.
The episode saw the fifth dinner party of the season as tensions were still high between Domenica, Carolina, and Olivia following the couple’s retreat which resulted in more yelling and a fake apology (Olivia).
Under Investigation with Liz Hayes then followed with 356,000 viewers, down on last weeks’ 453,000. The program investigated Australia’s delicate dance with nuclear energy.
On Seven, Home and Away was the top prime time entertainment with 487,000 tuning in. Police Strike Force then had 287,000 viewers for its second episode, which follows its launch audience of 311,000 viewers last week.
The Front Bar then followed with 358,000 for its Shane Warne tribute special.
On 10, The Project had 227,000 (6:30pm) and 347,000 (7:00pm) as the show covered Scott Morrison’s visit to Lismore and spoke to Channing Tatum. Ambulance Australia then had 248,000 viewers, 245,000 then tuned in for a repeat of the show.
On the ABC, the public broadcaster continues to benefit from the strong performance of both Hard Quiz (571,000) and Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell (441,000).
The top program on SBS was Lose a Stone in 21 Days with Michael Mosley which had 179,000 viewers.
