• Nine cruises to easy victory thanks to MAFS success
Total TV Ratings, February 27
Married at First Sight (MAFS), was again the #1 program in the total TV ratings, thanks to a robust audience of 1.960m, up 25%. The episode saw Selin and Anthony choose to leave the experiment.
Dancing with the Stars was the #2 entertainment program for the night with 1.040m, up 18%. The episode saw Angie Kent‘s sent home after her cha-cha didn’t thrill the judges.
Australian Survivor had 850,000 viewers, up 34%. In the episode, the tribes merged, and the first immunity challenge for the Lava Tribe saw Khan take home $60,000 but all the money in the world couldn’t buy him immunity as he was then sent home at the tribal council and became the first member of the Jury.
The ABC’s launch of its new Aussie drama, Troppo, had 806,000, up 48%.

TV Ratings March 5, 2022: Nine reclaims #1 as Space Invaders tops
Nine has started week 11 of the TV ratings survey with an easy win in both primary (26.4%) and network (32.5%) share. Once again, a major contributor was Married at First Sight (MAFS) which was the top non-news program of the night with 981,000 viewers and also #1 in all key demos. MAFS was down on its season-high of 1.007m viewers last week.
The episode saw another commitment ceremony take place as all the couples stayed in the experiment despite several brides writing leave on their cards. The episode erupted with tensions between the brides as Domenica confronted Carolina who walked off set before Olivia then confronted Domenica for her repetitive behaviour of attacking the other brides in the experiment.
60 Minutes then followed with 556,000 viewers as the show took a look at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a report by Tom Steinfort.
On Seven, Dancing with the Stars had 596,000 viewers as Bridie Carter was sent home despite having the third-highest score from the judges, but the audience didn’t agree, pitting her against Anthony Koutoufides in the final two.

On 10, The Sunday Project had 251,000 (6:30pm) and 348,000 (7:00pm) viewers as the show continued to cover the flood crisis on the east coast.
Australian Survivor had 480,000 viewers, down on last week’s 499,000 viewers. The episode saw Jesse go home with the wheels put in motion when Josh revealed to Mark that Jordie had snitched to him about Mark’s hidden immunity idol, putting both Jordie and his brother Jesse in danger.
On the ABC, the second episode of the public broadcaster’s new Aussie drama, Troppo, had 263,000 viewers.
The top non-news program on SBS was Secrets of a Celtic Grace with 162,000.
