Total TV Ratings, 11 March
Seven’s Better Homes and Gardens was the most viewed non-news program on total TV reaching a total audience of 756,000, with an increase of 4%.
ABC took out the second top spot with Gardening Australia, reaching a total TV audience of 697,000 and a lift of 15%.
ABC’s The Teacher had the highest lift on overnight with 47%, bringing in a total TV audience of 542,000, while Seven’s Friday Night NRL coverage experienced a lift of 8% to reach a total audience of 627,000.
Overnight TV Ratings, 18 March
Seven took a strong lead against Nine in the network shares with 38.4% compared to Nine’s share of 25.4%. Seven also topped the primary shares with 26.8%, followed by Nine with 17.4%, then ABC with 9.6%.
Seven’s Friday Night AFL coverage was the top non-news program of the night, with 504,000 metro viewers, 320,000 of those coming from Melbourne. The game between St Kilda and Collingwood was the most-watched program amongst all key demographics, with the 16-39 demographic having the game, post-match and pre-match in the top five most-watched programs of the night.
The Magpies took an 18-point win over The Saints with 15.12 (102) to 12.13 (85) at Docklands Stadium, as Jackson Warne flipped the coin before the match, honouring his late father, Shane Warne.
Nine’s Friday Night NRL coverage clocked 285,000 metro viewers, with 169,000 from Sydney as the Sydney Roosters took on the Manly Sea Eagles at the Sydney Cricket Ground, winning 26-12, while Penrith defeated St George Illawarra 20-16 in an earlier game.
10’s The Project brought in 241,000 viewers as confirmation that Chrissy Swan and Georgie Tunny will replace Carrie Bickmore on the nightly news program while she takes extended leave from April.
Channel 10’s top non-news program was The Bold and The Beautiful, clocking 162,000 views
Gardening Australia was ABC’s top entertainment program bringing in an audience of 380,000.
The top non-news program on SBS was Queen Victoria: Love, Lust and Leadership with 91,000 viewers.

Fox Footy also aired the St Kilda v Collingwood match which clocked 258,000 views, followed by Fox League’s live coverage of Friday Night Footy with 251,000.
Friday Footy on Fox League ranked third in the STV charts with 241,000 views followed by Fox Leagues’ coverage of Roosters v Sea Eagles with 221,000.
Lifestyle Channel’s The Great Australian Bake Off was the most-watched entertainment with 45,000 views.
