Total TV Ratings, June 2
Home and Away was the top entertainment program in the total TV ratings with an average of 948,000 viewers (up 24%) tuning in for the first two episodes, with 896,000 (28%) watching the third and final ep of the night.
MasterChef Australia was the top program for 10 with 786,000 (up 29%) watching as the cooks were back in the kitchen after their previous excursion, joined by both Marco Pierre White and winner of Celebrity MasterChef, AFL champion Nick Riewoldt.
The NRL match between the Gold Coast Titans and North Queensland Cowboys on Nine had 470,000 viewers, up 8%.

Seven was both the top primary channel (22.0%) and network (32.2%) last night thanks to a winning combination of Home and Away and the AFL across the metro markets in primetime. The AFL match between the Richmond Tigers and the Port Adelaide Power had 427,000 viewers, while Home and Away had an average of 343,000 watching the first two episodes, and 316,000 tune in for the third episode of the night.
With no NRL due to the State of Origin on Wednesday night, Nine aired a special Thursday night 60 Minutes episode that featured a joint report with The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age as Adele Ferguson investigated the plastic surgery industry.
The top program on 10 was MasterChef Australia with 438,000 viewers watching as the contestants made their interpretation of choc tops. The episode was the top primetime entertainment program despite being down on last week’s 463,000 viewers. It was also #2 in the 16-39 demographic.
On the ABC, Foreign Correspondent had 277,000 viewers before Q+A then had 208,000 tune in.
The top program on SBS was How to Sleep Well with Micheal Mosley with 169,000.
