• MasterChef and The Cheap seats continue to dominate key demos
Total TV Ratings, June 21
Home and Away was the top primetime entertainment program in the total TV ratings with 896,000 viewers tuning in, an increase of 24%. At 7:30pm, Big Brother had 740,000 viewers (up 47%) as Jaycee and Aleisha stuffed up their shopping task.
MasterChef was the top program for 10 with 884,000, up 18% on its overnight ratings. The episode saw Montana sent home after taking on Khanh Nguyen’s seafood plate which had 99 ingredients, 143 steps and a 13-page recipe.
The finale of Celebrity Apprentice had an average of 781,000 viewers (up 23%), plus 975,000 (up 20%) tuning in for the winner announcement as ex-NRL star Benji Marshall was crowned the winner after raising $387,105 (plus an extra $100,000 for winning) for his charity, Souths Cares.

Nine was both the top primary channel (22.2%) and network (29.9%) last night thanks to a winning combination of A Current Affair (642,000), Australian Ninja Warrior (458,000) and night 2 of its Wimbledon Coverage (327,000).
On Seven, Home and Away was the broadcaster’s top primetime entertainment program with an audience of 464,000 tuning in for the soap. This was followed at 7:30pm by Big Brother with 328,000 viewers as Tim gambled several times and came up big each time.
On 10, MasterChef Australia was the top entertainment program of the night with a robust 580,000 viewers. The episode featured a pressure test by Chocolate Queen Kirsten Tibballs who presented her intricate cherry-on-top dessert for the chefs to attempt. MasterChef was #1 in the 16-39 demographic. Afterwards, The Cheap Seats continued its hot streak in 2022, with another timeslot win after registering 414,000 viewers. Cheap Seats was also #1 in the 18-49 demo.
On the ABC, The ABC of had 424,000 viewers, as the interview series featured ABC Chairwoman Ita Buttrose.
The top program on SBS was Who Do You Think You Are? with 307,000 viewers. The episode featured Myf Warhurst.
