Nine
On Nine A Current Affair had 860,000 viewers after covering the Brisbane 2032 Olympic bid win, allegations against one of the contestants on Farmer Wants a Wife, and one of the worst cases of slavery in Australian history.
Then in the 7:30pm slot, Nine aired a repeat of Travel Guides which took 597,000 viewers to Tokyo.
The broadcaster then played the classic movie Legally Blonde which drew in 304,000 viewers.
Footy Classified had 65,000 with 50,000 coming from Melbourne.
Seven
Seven won the night with the top primary (26.4%) and network (34.4%) share thanks to a winning combo of Home and Away, Farmer Wants a Wife and the first night of Olympics coverage.
Home and Away had 647,000 viewers as it sets up its cliff-hanging mid-season finale.
The Farmer Wants a Wife finale was the #1 non-news program of the night with an average of 853,000 metro viewers.
In the final episode of the season, Andrew, Matt and Will found love.
Matt had to decide between his feelings for 25-year-old executive assistant Tara and 22-year-old waitress Alex. Although still wary if Tara would be suited to farm life, Matt couldn’t deny their connection.
Rob’s second chance at love didn’t quite pan out as he had planned. Rob wasn’t able to get his lightning bolt moment with 36-year-old psychologist Kate or 40-year-old horse nutritionist Vici.
For Will, it was all about following his “gut”. Even though he had strong feelings for 29-year-old zookeeper Kristina and knew life on the farm with her would be perfect given her love of animals, Will chose to follow his heart rather than his head. “It was exceptionally hard to let Kristina down. She’s an amazing girl. No one likes to be rejected. It’s a terrible feeling.”
Andrew had become fond of 28-year-old retail manager Ash, but his heart belonged to 27-year-old community relations worker Jess. “It just hurts. You could see he had real feelings. It is what it is,” said Ash through tears after Andrew told her of his decision. “I can’t change anything more.”

The Project had 332,000 (6:30pm) and 533,000 (7:00pm) viewers as the show covered Jeff Bezos launching himself into space and talked to 10’s latest Bachelor, Jimmy Nicholson.
Speaking of The Bachelor, the show’s launch episode brought in 482,000 viewers as Jimmy met each girl for the first time and chose which one got the keys to the executive lounge giving her exclusive, uninterrupted time alone with him.
Jay received the keys while 20 other girls received roses and Lauren and Annabelle were sent home.
The episode was #1 in the 16-39 demo last night.
ABC
Win the Week didn’t air last night instead replaced by a repeat of the Hard Quiz Kids Special which had 502,000, outrating the 350,000 that Win the Week had in its last episode.
This was followed by Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell which had 549,000 after covering the vaccine rollout, the Chinese spy ship off the coast of Australia, and the column that “Scott Morrison’s dog” had written in the Daily Telegraph.
SBS
The top non-news show on SBS last night was Naples: Under the Volcanic Threat which had 191,000 viewers.
