10’s Have You Been Paying Attention? was the top primetime entertainment program with a viewership of 964,000, this was an increase of 24% on its overnight audience. MasterChef Australia was the next best primetime entertainment program with 962,000, an increase of 18%.
Home and Away was the top primetime entertainment show for Seven with 931,000 (up 23%). Also on Seven, Big Brother had 733,000 viewers, an increase of 43%.
On Nine, Australian Ninja Warrior had 728,000 viewers (up 22%) as the program leapt into the semi-finals.

Nine won last night’s TV ratings survey after producing both the #1 primary channel share (21.8%) and network share (29.7%). A Current Affair provided a strong audience of 730,000 as the program confronted Robert Hughes following his prison release. The Grand Finale of Australian Ninja Warrior then had 560,000 viewers as Zak Stolz once again walked away with $100,000 after being the furthest fastest competitor, he is the only person to do it twice in a row. In the morning, the Today show had a rare win over Sunrise.
10 had a strong performance that saw it finish as the #2 primary channel (18.2%) and network (23.5%) last night. This was thanks to strong performances by both MasterChef and Have You Been Paying Attention?. MasterChef was the top entertainment program of the night with 693,000 as the show aired the first part of its Grand Finale which saw Billie and Sarah make the final two. Have You Been Paying Attention? then followed with 630,000 viewers, as the episode featured Ray O’Leary, Melanie Bracewell and Emma Holland.
On Seven, Home and Away was the top primetime entertainment program with 445,000 tuning in for the local drama. Big Brother then followed at 7:30pm with 329,000 viewers as the show’s penultimate episode widdle the house down to a final three of Taras, Johnson and Reggie.
On the ABC, Back Roads returned as it took 514,000 viewers to Leeton, NSW. Four Corners then followed with 464,000 before Media Watch had 401,000.
The top non-news program on SBS was The Queen’s Guards: A Year in Service with 123,000.
