Total TV Ratings, August 19
The Chase Australia was the top entertainment program in the total TV ratings with 745,000 viewers, an increase of 3% on its overnight ratings. Also on Seven, the AFL had 672,000 tune in, an increase of 1%.
On the ABC, Gardening Australia was the #2 entertainment program with 652,000 viewers, up 17%.
On Nine, the NRL was the top non-news program for the broadcaster with 545,000, up 10%.
Overnight TV Ratings, August 26
Last night, Nine had both the top primary channel share (21.0%) and network share (31.1%) as the broadcaster’s coverage of the NRL match between the Melbourne Storm and Sydney Roosters had 362,000 viewers. The match had 178,000 tune in from Sydney making it the highest rating non-news program in the market. Earlier in the night, A Current Affair had 493,000 viewers.
On Seven, The Chase Australia was the top entertainment program for the day with 429,000 viewers, before Better Homes and Gardens was the top entertainment program in primetime with 383,000.
The Living Room was the top program on 10 with the lifestyle program bringing in 275,000 viewers.
On the ABC, Gardening Australia was the top non-news program for the public broadcaster with 354,000.
The top program on SBS was Lost Treasures of Rome with 112,000 tuning in.

The top program on Foxtel last night came from Fox League, with 295,000 watching the Melbourne Storm take on the Sydney Roosters. Earlier in the night on Fox League, the Penrith Panthers playing the New Zealand Warriors had 169,000 tune in.
The AFLW match between Adelaide and Melbourne had 42,000 viewers on Fox Footy.
