The Commonwealth Games on Seven was the top non-news program in the total TV ratings with 1.095m tuning in for the night session. This was an increase of 4% on its overnight ratings.
On Nine, the Beauty and the Geek finale had an average of 790,000 (up 215), with 866,000 tuning in for the winner’s announcement.
On 10, Shaun Micallef’s Brain Eisteddfod had 381,000 viewers, an increase of 7%.

Nine was both the top primary channel (23.3%) and network (31.9%) last night thanks to a winning combination of The Block (749,000) and Nine’s new original drama After the Verdict (409,000).
The Block saw the contestants competing to win the biggest prize in Block history, a $250,000 kitchen upgrade. This was followed by After the Verdict, with the Aussie drama focusing on four jurors who find themselves in trouble after they try to solve a murder case.
On Seven, My Kitchen Rules had an audience surge in its third episode after registering 470,000 viewers, an increase on Tuesday’s 450,000, and Monday’s 408,000. The episode saw NSW couple Janelle and Monzir score the first perfect 10s of the competition from judges Manu Feildel and Nigella Lawson for their Sudanese entrée, a treasured family recipe from Monzir’s dad. A repeat of Olivia Newton-John: Hopelessly Devoted to You then had 471,000.
On 10, Shaun Micallef’s Brain Eisteddfod had 308,000 viewers before 10 continued to give viewers a taste of the US comedy Ghost, with its newest episodes available on Paramount+.
On the ABC, Shaun Micallef wasn’t done for the night with Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell bringing in 412,000 viewers. Aftertaste then had 164,000.
The top program was New York: The City That Never Sleeps with 174,000.
