Tim Tszyu’s American debut against US Olympian Terrell Gausha will take place at 11:00am AEDT on Sunday March 27 at The Armory, Minneapolis.
The match will be aired live on pay-per-view in Australia, available on Kayo & Foxtel. Viewers can order the match on Main Event or Kayo for $59.95. Fans don’t need a separate Full Access Kayo subscription to purchase the match.
Tszyu is expected to pocket in excess of $1 million for stepping foot in the ring in Minneapolis. The 27-year old currently holds a 20-0 record including 15 knockouts, while 34-year old Gausha has a record of 22-2-1. The boxers will compete in a 10-round bout.
The Tszyu-Gausha fight was originally scheduled to take place one week before the revised March 27 (AEDT) date on the Jermell Charlo vs Brian Castano card at Crypto.com Arena (formerly known as Staples Center) in Los Angeles, California. But the event collapsed when Castaño withdrew from the fight after reportedly suffering a bicep tear during training camp.
The event is due to begin at 8:00pm local time which is 11:00am AEDT. A three-fight card has been put together, featuring two ten-round bouts ahead of the 12-round main event.
