Triple M is ready for footy finals weekend with its team of footy legends, commentators, experts and specialised programming across both codes.
Triple M is gearing up for the 2023 Toyota AFL Grand Final between Collingwood and Brisbane at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
On Thursday The Rush Hour with JB & Billy will broadcast live from Melbourne Public for The Rush Hour’s Grand Final Rumble, thanks to Jim Beam.
James Brayshaw and Billy Brownless will host listeners for a show that features a live performance by The Living End.
Grand Final Day will see Triple M broadcast live from the main stage outside gate three at the MCG from 8am.
105.1’s “Dangerous Dave” and Sarah-Maree will be followed by Dead Set Legends with Leigh Montagna, Jay Clark, Kath Loughnan and Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann from 10am to midday. Followed by The Saturday Rub, James Brayshaw, Billy Brownless, Bernie Vince and Damian Barrett, who will be heard from midday to 2pm, just before the first bounce.
Commentators and footy legends that will be heard across the Triple M Network and LiSTNR include Luke Darcy, Mark Howard, Jason Dunstall, Nathan Brown, Michael Roberts and Ash Chua.
The weekend continues with the 2023 NRL and NRLW Telstra Premiership Grand Finals at Accor Stadium in Sydney as Penrith v Brisbane (NRL) and Knights v Titans (NRLW) battle for the trophy.
The Rush Hour with Gus, Jude & Wendell will be broadcasting live from Sydney’s Overseas Passenger Terminal on Thursday, 28 September, joined by listeners and Triple M’s Aaron Woods and crossing to NRL players throughout the show.
NRLW Grand Final coverage begins from 4pm on Sunday, 1 October with Triple M’s Anthony Maroon, Maddie Studdon and Aaron Woods, followed by the 2023 NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final call across the Triple M Network and LiSTNR with commentators and league legends James Graham, Ryan Girdler, Wendell Sailor and Dan Ginanne.
