It was a special survey 3 for KIIS as the station has surged back to the #1 spot in Sydney after adding 1.5 points in Survey 3. Kyle and Jackie O are still breakfast champs with 17.9%, their best result ever after surging up an additional 2.9 points. Will and Woody remain leaders in drive, with a 13.5% share. The station continues to post amazing cume audiences with 1,418,000 which is an increase of 72,000.

After briefly claiming back the top spot in Sydney, 2GB has slipped back down to #2 despite increasing its market share by 0.4. This was only 2GB’s second survey without the #1 spot in 18 years.
Breakfast was up 0.3 points as it is truly a two-horse race at the moment between Ben Fordham and Kyle and Jackie O. Mornings were also up as Ray Hadley continues to dominate the slot with 15.5%. Drive, evenings, and weekends are also up, however, 2GB was down in most demographics outside of 10-17 and 65+.

smoothfm remains #3 in Sydney after gaining 1.1 points. The station still remains second overall in cume after increasing its audience by 61,000, trailing only KIIS FM. In breakfast, Bogart Torelli and Ron Wilson were up 0.3 points to be the #4 commercial breakfast show in Sydney. Drive maintained the second-highest share in the timeslot, with 11.9%, up 2.3 points.

WSFM has lost some of the early-year momentum that it built in Survey 1 and Survey 2 after losing 1.6 points, but still remains the #4 station in Sydney. Jonesy and Amanda have lost 2.2 points, producing an 8% share as they remain the #3 program in the daypart.

Nova remains at #5 after gaining 0.5 points. The breakfast lineup of Fitzy and Wippa with Kate Ritchie dipped 0.2 points. The drive lineup of Ricki-Lee, Tim and Joel was up 0.7 points. Demo-wise, Nova’s best result was in 18-24 where it was up 4.0 points.

Triple M has lost some of its audience that it gained at the start of the year, down 0.8 points. Also losing 18.000 in cume audience. This is the third survey since Mick Molloy jumped in the breakfast seat alongside Mark ‘MG’ Geyer with the show sitting at 5.1% after losing 0.7 points. Drive was down 1.2 points. In demographics, the station’s biggest declines were in 18-24 and 25-39 with marginal gains in 10-17 and 40-54.
