2GB is still #1 in Sydney after remaining steady following only a marginal dip in its share, ending the slide that started in Survey 3. Breakfast with Ben Fordham is still the #1 breakfast show, dropping only 0.2 points, also stemming the bleeding from Survey 3 where he lost 3.1 points. Mornings with Ray Hadley continues to build its lead in the daypart, improving by 0.4 points. The station increased its share in the younger demographic of 18-24 by 2.3 points as it also continues to dominate 65+ with a share of 28.0%.

This is the 28th consecutive winning survey for Kyle and Jackie O for FM breakfast in the market, with the show increasing its share by 0.9 points. This is on par with the station’s overall performance as it increased its #1 FM share by 1.0 points. Will and Woody have reclaimed the #1 drive slot, after missing out to WSFM in Survey 3. The station continues to dominate the younger demographic, finishing #1 in 10-17 and 25-39, but missing out o 18-24 after losing ground to nova.

smoothfm has continued its moment in Survey 3 with another positive result, increasing its share by 0.8 points and remaining the #3 station in Sydney. This follows off the station having its lowest share in over five years in survey 1. The station went past KIIS for the top cume audience in the survey after increasing by 137,000. The station is the #1 FM station in mornings and weekends while #1 overall in afternoons.

WSFM remains at #4 in this survey after remaining steady with a share of 8.7%, only 0.1 points shy of its best 10+ result in 2021. Jonesy and Amanda have continued to slip in market share, losing 0.8 points in Survey 4, this follows their best result since mid-2018 in Survey 2. WSFM saw healthy gains in the morning, afternoon, and drive dayparts. The station was #1 in the 40-54 demographic.

Nova has continued its slide after dropping 0.4 points in this survey, but still has a sizeable cushion between itself and the two SCA stations below it in the rankings. Breakfast with Fitzy and Wippa has ended its downwards trend by gaining 0.2 points. Drive with Kate, Tim, and Joel was up another 0.3 points and finds itself in the fourth position. The station nabbed the #1 ranking in 18-24 off of KIIS in this survey.

Triple M has experienced a small dip in its market share, losing 0.4 points. The station lost ground in each daypart besides evenings where it gained 0.1 points and weekends where it remained steady. The breakfast slot with Mark Geyer, Jess and Pagey lost most of its gains from the last survey after decreasing in share by 0.7 points. The station’s best demo was 40-54, where it has a 8.8% share.
