Total TV Ratings December 5
The Bathurst 1000 was easily the top non-news program in the total TV ratings with an average of 1.287m tuning in for the race itself before the podium drew in 1.408m. The event saw Chaz Mostert and Lee Holdsworth win a wild race that saw six safety cars deployed.
The Big Bash League continued the sport on Seven with 769,000 tuning in as the Sydney Sixers easily handled the Melbourne Stars.
Total Control continues to be the riser on Sunday nights with its audience of 854,000 reflecting an increase of 51%.
Overnight TV Ratings December 12
• Nine’s multi-channels make it top network
Seven had the top primary channel last night with a share of 19.4% this was thanks in large part to the Big Bash League which saw 400,000 tune in to see the Melbourne Stars defeat the Sydney Thunder. This match was the top non-news program of the night.
Nine was the top network last night with a 28.7% share. Despite it lagging in primary share, a strong performance by Nine’s multi-channels including 9GO! (4.3%) and 9Gem (3.9%) helped steer the broadcaster to the win. 60 Minutes had 495,000 viewers before David Attenborough’s A Perfect Planet had 291,000.
On 10, The Sunday Project had 196,000 (6:30pm) and 296,000 (7:00pm) as the show covered Queensland opening its borders. The Graham Norton Show then followed with 283,000 as the show featured Keanu Reeves, Olivia Colman, Mahershala Ali, Jack Whitehall, Jennifer Lawrence, and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man.
On the ABC, a repeat of Death in Paradise had 387,000 viewers before Total Control continued its second season with 355,000 viewers.
