Total TV ratings November 24
Home and Away’s final episode of its triple parter was the top non-news program in the total TV ratings with 1.127m, an increase of 37%. The first two episodes of the night averaged 1.089m viewers.
Gruen was the top program on the ABC with 978,000 viewers after increasing its overnight ratings by 26%. The episode saw Sunita Gloster and Emily Taylor join the show as it discussed Lego, salmon, and consent campaigns.
The penultimate episode of The Bachelorette Australia was the top program on 10 with 527,000 viewers after increasing by 30%. The episode saw Brooke go on three special dates with final suitors Darvid, Holly, and Jamie-Lee, before saying goodbye to Holly at the end of their emotional date.
The finale for Love Island Australia was up 117% bringing its final viewers to 406,000.
Overnight TV ratings December 1
Nine has won the first true night of the Summer TV ratings, continuing the broadcaster’s winning streak since the TV ratings survey ended. The broadcaster had the #1 primary channel share (19.1%) and network share (29.0%) last night thanks to a strong performance from A Current Affair (654,000) which was followed by Mega Zoo with (482,000).
On Seven, Border Security: Australia’s Front Line aired at 7pm, bringing in 424,000 viewers.
The Project had 333,000 tuning in from 7:00pm as the show continued to cover the Omicron outbreak.
The ABC had a strong evening with a share of 13.8%. This was thanks to the public broadcaster continuing to run its strong Wednesday lineup of Hard Quiz (574,000) and Gruen (573,000) the former of which was the top entertainment program of the night.
