QMS has reaffirmed its commitment to The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal, extending its partnership for a third year to support the 2025 fundraising campaign across Victoria.
Leveraging its network of outdoor digital large-format sites, QMS is driving awareness of the appeal and encouraging Victorians to contribute to the appeal.
The campaign, which launched on 3 March runs until 21 April, runs across Melbourne and, for the first time, into regional Victoria.
This year’s appeal highlights the inspiring stories of six-year-old Jack and four-year-old Mimi, who are the faces of the 2025 campaign.
Since its inception in 1931, the Good Friday Appeal has raised more than $468 million, funding vital equipment, patient and family support programs, and groundbreaking research at The Royal Children’s Hospital. Donations also support education initiatives, scholarships, and fellowships aimed at attracting and retaining top medical talent.
In a landmark development for 2025, the Appeal is extending its impact beyond Melbourne, directing funds to regional paediatric health services, including Barwon Health, Bendigo Health, Grampians Health, Goulburn Valley Health, Albury Wodonga Health, and Latrobe Regional Health.
QMS will actively participate in fundraising efforts, including collecting donations at Kids Day Out and the AFL Good Friday SuperClash between North Melbourne and Carlton at Marvel Stadium, as well as engaging in additional volunteering initiatives in the lead-up to Good Friday.
QMS Chief Operating Officer, Sara Lappage, said she was proud of working so closely with the appeal.
“Everyone at QMS is extremely proud of our ongoing partnership with The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal and the incredible work the hospital does for sick children and their families.
“It’s an honour for QMS to utilise our digital network across Victoria and once again provide a platform to help raise awareness of this important fundraising event and encourage everyone to get involved and donate.
“No matter how big or small, every donation enables the hospital to help sick children live healthier lives and realise their full potential,” she said.
Good Friday Appeal Executive Director, Rebecca Cowan, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the value of QMS’ support.
“Thank you to QMS for your very generous support for the third year. Being able to share the gorgeous faces of Jack and Mimi across the QMS network is a powerful reminder to get involved in the Appeal.
“With the GFA and RCH continuing the funding of regional health services in 2025, it is also wonderful to expand this support into regional areas.”
With the partnership growing stronger each year, QMS’ contribution continues to play a crucial role in amplifying the Good Friday Appeal’s reach and impact across Victoria.
