Pureprofile nominates Michelle Kvello as Liz Smith retires
Michelle Kvello faces a shareholder vote at the October AGM, when Liz Smith will leave the research company's board seat
Pureprofile has nominated finance executive Michelle Kvello as a non-executive director to its board as Liz Smith prepares to retire at the company’s annual general meeting on 28 October.
Smith is retiring by rotation and will not seek re-election. Her departure will take effect at the AGM's conclusion. Kvello’s appointment is subject to shareholder approval at the meeting and, if approved, will take effect at its conclusion.
Finance and growth experience
Kvello began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers before holding senior finance roles at Reuters, Foxtel and Yahoo!7. She founded fractional CFO advisory firm Lantern Partners in 2011, advising start-ups and growing businesses on strategy and commercial matters.
She sits on the board of 10x10 Philanthropy and previously served as a director of Performing Lines, where she chaired its Finance, Audit and Risk Committee.
Pureprofile chair Michael Anderson thanked Smith for her contribution to the company.
“On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Liz for her commitment and contribution to Pureprofile during her time as a Director. We have valued the experience and perspective she has brought to the Board and wish her every success for the future.
“We are also very pleased to have someone of Michelle’s calibre standing for election. Her strong financial and commercial background will complement the skills and experience of our existing Directors, while bringing valuable new insights and perspectives to support the Board.”
Shareholders to vote in October
Pureprofile CEO Martin Filz said Kvello’s experience growing businesses and expanding internationally was relevant to the company’s strategy.
