Free TV has announced that Brett Savill has resigned as the CEO of Free TV after three months in the role.
In a short statement, Savill said: “I have formed the view that the role is not the right fit for me and I believe it is the right thing to do to step aside now so that Free TV can pursue its agenda under a new leader.”
Harold Mitchell, chair of Free TV, said: “We are disappointed Brett is not the right person for the organisation and that the appointment has not worked out. On behalf of all of the broadcasters I thank Brett for his contribution and wish him all the best for the future.”
