Nature has announced the addition of five new staff to its Melbourne office, including three associate directors, a head of marketing and a design specialist.

The appointments follow strong growth across the strategic insights consultancy in 2022 and is part of Nature’s ongoing commitment to be a business that informs tomorrow by investing in its people.

Chris Crook, Nature founder and managing partner, said: “Everyone understands the importance of great people in growing a great business and culture, and I’m really proud that our business is in the position to attract and sign such top talent. Our focus right now is where it needs to be, which is on our people and culture.

“We’re also pleased to create new roles for both marketing and design which reflects our shift in strategic positioning and our focus on the future of the company.

“Just recently, we’ve been honoured with B Corp certification and a finalist position in the 2022 ESOMAR Research Effectiveness Awards. Both are testament to how we balance profit with purpose and continuously strive for better outputs,” Crook said.

Katy Oakley joined Nature in August in the newly created position of head of marketing. She was previously at Ivy Street Agency, where she was strategy director.

Her role at Nature will see her working directly with the senior leadership team to bring the Nature brand to life in client and candidate markets.

Mikayla Samuels joins Nature in September as associate director after 10 years with Kantar in Australia, the UK and Europe. Samuels brings with her depth of experience in services, along with a passion for brand strategy, sustainability strategy and technology.

Khushboo Pandey also arrives at Nature this month as associate director. She joins from The Evolved Group and has over 15 years’ experience, most recently focused on delivering insight and strategic advisory to global retail and FMCG clients.

Sophie Wallis is joining Nature in September as associate director. She brings over five years’ experience in the industry, starting her career at management consultant Grant Thornton and most recently with Finder as an Insights Analyst.

Rachel Leticia has also recently joined as design specialist. She was previously on the design team at Forethought and will be responsible for building Nature’s data visualisation and design capabilities across a range of media.

Nature partner and Melbourne managing director, Justin Connally, said: “We’re really excited to be able to welcome these five new people to Nature Melbourne. There’s been a lot of hard thinking spent on the outputs and the future of the business this year.

“To be able to add three new associate directors and, for the first time, a head of marketing and design specialist is an important next step in Nature’s progress,” he added.
