Following a competitive pitch, Medium Rare has been awarded a three-year contract as Officeworks’ content agency of choice.
The partnership will see Medium Rare deliver content strategy and publishing services across Officeworks’ business units in a range of channels, including online, social, and instore.
Officeworks will avail of Medium Rare’s full spectrum of services for both ‘always-on’ and campaign content that respond to its marketing objectives throughout the calendar year. These services include: strategic insights to inform content; SEO-led and omni-channel content generation for customer segments; and multi-media services including video, dynamic imagery, and content with high social currency.
The extended remit follows the March 2020 launch of Noteworthy, an online content hub for Officeworks’ customers, developed with Medium Rare. The hub delivers utility-driven listicles and engaging videos to inspire customers to learn and create, driving significant sales volume for Officeworks.
Noteworthy has been globally recognised by the Content Marketing Institute (US) at the 2021 Content Marketing Awards for Best Content Marketing Program in Retail and by the Content Marketing Summit (Asia) 2021 as the Best Use of Branded Digital Content.
Medium Rare managing director, Gerry Reynolds said: “We’re excited to extend our content services across channels and reinforce key campaign messaging in order to deliver solutions to customers and inspire actions that ultimately drive sales and brand love for Officeworks.”
Jess Richmond, Officeworks’ general manager marketing & insights, said: “We are delighted to be entering into an extended partnership with Medium Rare. The relationship has already led to an award-winning best in class content program for Officeworks that we are very proud of, we now look forward to taking this to the next level embedding content into all aspects of the customer journey, both online and offline”.
The Officeworks content strategy and publishing services will be delivered by a dedicated team at Medium Rare, led by Editor-in-Chief Jo McKay.
