Fairfax Media has made two key appointments in its commercial team.
Effective immediately, Matt Rowley takes on the role of chief revenue officer for Australian Metro Publishing. Rowley will lead teams across agency and direct sales, key account management, brands and audiences, ad tech and operations and commercial innovation.
Rowley’s background includes time as a global marketer, creative agency head and digital publisher. His previous roles include head of content marketing at Cirrus Media Australia and managing director within the Publicis Group in London.
Fairfax Media has also appointed Andrew Mudgway as national sales director (agency). Mudgway joined Fairfax two years ago as Victorian agency sales director and was previously MD of Initiative in Melbourne. He started his media career at George Patterson and DDB, before joining OMD, Zenith Optimedia and Austereo in strategy and sales roles.
