The marathon of sport begins tonight with Thursday Night Footy, as the Brisbane Lions take on Collingwood at the Gabba from 7:00pm AEST.

AFL, surfing, racing and more across the long weekend

Monday wraps up the AFL round with the annual Easter Monday clash between Hawthorn and Geelong at the MCG, live from 2:30pm AEST.

In addition to AFL coverage, the World Surf League Championship Tour’s Rip Curl Pro continues at Bells Beach. Australians Ethan Ewing and Tyler Wright remain in contention, while Brazil’s Italo Ferreira and the USA’s Caitlin Simmers currently top the leaderboard.

Horse racing fans can also tune in for live coverage from All Aged Stakes Day at Royal Randwick, Mornington Cup Day at Mornington, and The Quokka in WA — all airing on Seven’s racing coverage team.

Stawell Gift returns to 7plus

Seven’s streaming platform will host exclusive live coverage of the Stawell Gift, including a highly anticipated sprint showdown between Gout Gout and Lachie Kennedy, as both attempt to qualify for the final in one of Australia’s oldest and most prestigious foot races.

Seven’s Easter of Sport kicks off Thursday 17th April at 7:00pm AEST with Brisbane Lions v Collingwood live on Seven, 7mate and 7plus Sport.
