Colleagues farewell The Magnificent Seven after major Foxtel restructure
The seven executives were guests of honour at a dinner organised by Walsh at Peacock Gardens

After a major restructure of the business, Foxtel's Brian Walsh last night farewelled seven senior managers who have decades of service between them in the subscription TV sector.
The seven executives – Rhonda Dawson, Travis Conneeley, Shaun James, Brendon Moo, Gabriel Ayoub, Paul Macionis and Graham Burrells – were guests of honour at a dinner organised by Walsh at Sydney TV's favourite meeting place, Peacock Gardens in Crows Nest. A poster for the event used imagery from the movie The Magnificent Seven and called guests to the gala banquet to "toast our friends and colleagues".
Brian Walsh spoke and paid tribute to his departing colleagues with each of them also taking turns to remember some of their career highlights. One guest told Mediaweek it was at times both "very emotional and very celebratory". Other speakers included Foxtel's Duane Hatherly and Jim Buchan.
