Foxtel commissions new Maggie Beer special
Maggie in Japan will be produced by Lingo Pictures and screen on LifeStyle FOOD in 2017.
Foxtel has commissioned a new local production featuring The Great Australian Bake Off judge Maggie Beer. The one-hour special called Maggie in Japan will be screened on Foxtel’s LifeStyle FOOD in 2017.
Maggie in Japan will follow Beer as she travels to Japan to explore and experience the essence of Japanese cuisine and some of the unique cooking techniques found across the country.

Beer has a fascination for the culture and ingredients of Japan and so, with the help of both traditional chefs and the new wave, she’ll immerse herself in the local food and lives of her culinary guides.
The general manager of The LifeStyle Channels, Hannah Barnes, said: “Maggie has gained a whole new raft of fans following the huge success of The Great Australian Bake Off and we are thrilled to extend our relationship with her with this unique new one hour special.

Beer will travel to Japan later this year to film the special being produced by Lingo Pictures exclusively for Foxtel.
