Brennan shares some of her adventures in the world of children’s broadcasting, on both sides of the paywall

Former Australian children's TV executive Deirdre Brennan departed her role as head of children's TV at the ABC in March this year. She has moved to Canada to take up a role as VP of Content for Canadian producer Corus Kids.
Brennan was a speaker at MIPJunior in Cannes on the weekend, the kids TV market that leads into MIPCOM. In her presentation, Why the World Needs More Canada…or How I Learnt to Love Ketchup Chips, Brennan shared some of her adventures in the world of children’s broadcasting, on both sides of the paywall.
She also gave her perspective on the risks and opportunities facing the industry today, explored the role of Canadian production in the evolving business of kids entertainment…and raised questions around broadcasters' responsibility to audiences of the future.
