Australian illusionist and escapologist Cosentino has been having a big 2015. Earlier this year he undertook a national sold-out Australian tour before heading to Asia where he also played to full houses with sold-out arena shows in Bangkok. He also appeared on Thailand’s #1 rating TV show Rueng Lao Chao Nee which has an estimated viewing audience of over nine million.
This week it was revealed Cosentino will be a performer at the 2015 Helpmann Awards next month. The show, to be hosted by Todd McKenney, will also feature performances from Les Misérables, Once and the Australia Piano Quartet. Foxtel’s new Foxtel Arts channel will broadcast the show live on Monday July 27.
Meanwhile tickets went on sale this week in New Zealand for Cosentino shows in Auckland and Wellington at the end of August and the start of September. These will be Cosentino’s first live shows in New Zealand and follow his four primetime TV2 specials Twisted Reality. The NZ visit is being promoted by Live Nation.
