BuzzFeed Australia has two new team members as its commercial operations grow to help local and global marketers reach their target audiences.
David Nemes (pictured left) joins as director of brand strategy and will lead commercial operations for BuzzFeed Australia. He’ll be responsible for partnering with clients and agencies to create compelling campaigns and help them engage with the 200m+ monthly visitors on BuzzFeed. Prior to BuzzFeed, Nemes was one of the first hires for LinkedIn in APAC. He has more than 10 years of digital experience, where he’s focused on building teams, driving strategy and expanding businesses into new regions. A Bondi native, he can’t surf but loves the water.
Brad Arnold (pictured right) joins as manager of brand strategy and will develop and manage client-direct and agency partnerships. He’ll initially focus his efforts on market education sessions and understanding of BuzzFeed’s value proposition to advertisers.
Arnold brings more than 10 years’ experience working within some of Australia’s top digital publishers such as REA Group, Telstra Ad Network/MCN and MTV. On the agency side, he’s worked for Universal McCann, Starcom and Carat. A Tim Tam addict whose motto is “adventure always”, Arnold is found most weekends by the water.
