Box Office: Spider-Man No Way Home continues to dominant Aus box office

Spider-Man No Way Home has continued to inch its way into Australian box office history as it now sits as the #4 film of all time after making a total of $65.91m. The film also finished #1 overall at the Australian box office this weekend for the fourth straight week after making over $4m.
The King's Man was the only new entry into the top five with the prequel film bringing in $1.56m in revenue. While The Addams Family 2: Road Trip failed to make the top five after making $684,429.
The film to drop out of the top five was The Matrix Ressurections after making $607,781 over the weekend. The film has made a total of $6.50m so far after three weeks.
Overall the Australian box office was down 18% after making $17.30m.
#1 Spider-Man No Way Home $4.01m
This is one of the busiest times of the year for new releases but that hasn't stopped the latest Spider-Man film from dominating the Australian box office for four straight weeks. This past weekend's win was thanks to an average of $6,647 on 604 screens.
#2 Sing 2 $2.02m
The sequel film continues to perform well in its third week of release after generating an average of $5,783 on 351 screens. The film now has made a total of $11.36m.

#3 Ghostbusters: Afterlife $1.84m
In its second week of release, the latest entry in the Ghostbusters franchise has stayed in the #3 spot after averaging $3,807 on 485 screens. The film has now made a total of $6.43m.
#4 The King's Man $1.56m
The only new release to crack the top five this week was the prequel film to the Kingsmen movies. The film had an average of $4,439 on 353 screens.
#5 House of Gucci $1.46m
The true story drama film starring Lady Gaga and Adam Driver has stayed at #5 in its second week of release after averaging $4,863 on 301 screens. Its total now sits at $4.28m.
