James Manning
James has had a long and sometimes distinguished career working in the magazine industry, having written and edited a number of music publications in his native Melbourne, before starting the Australian edition of British “pop music bible” Smash Hits in 1984. He ran the title successfully for over a decade before moving on to edit other publications and later run a successful photo agency. In 1999 he took over as publisher and editor of Mediaweek.
