Mix 102.3 has bounced back from its lowest result of 2020 with a positive swing of 1.3 points as it further solidifies itself as the #1 station in Adelaide.
With Erin Phills replacing Jodie Oddy as the new host of the breakfast shift with Mark Soderstrom (pictured above), the show’s breakfast share remained steady up 0.3 points but is still down on the 12.5% the show had for survey seven last year. The show finished as the #2 breakfast show behind FIVEaa.
Will and Woody‘s national drive show came a very close second to Nova after improving by 2.2 points.
After being down in all dayparts in the last survey, the reverse has happened with Mix 102.3 now up in all dayparts to start the year.
Demographics were mostly all positive as well with the only decline coming in 55-65.

ARN has secured the top two commercial stations in Adelaide with the AM music station Cruise 1323 staying steady on its share from survey 8 last year.
The station performed best in the morning shift and on weekends where it had a share of 12.8% which is #2 in Adelaide.

David and Will were the #1 commercial breakfast team again with a share of 14.8%, up 2.6 points. While Rowey‘s drive show came in at #5 with 8.9%. The station’s second strongest daypart was in the evenings with 13.2%.
The station performed best in the 55-64 (12.0%) and 65+ (21.4%) demographics.

The station ended its year with its equal smallest 10+ share, and has opened 2021 with the same number.
Ben and Liam have lost 1.8 points from the end of last year which makes this result the lowest Nova breakfast share in over five years.
Kate, Tim and Joel as still #1 in drive but the race is well and truly on in Adelaide after the trio finished 0.1 points ahead of Mix.
The station dominated 18-24 with 28.7%, up 6.4 points.

5MMM had the biggest decline of the survey losing 1.4 points, with the biggest daypart loss coming from the breakfast team of Roo and Ditts who dropped 2.5 points.
The station’s best demographic was 40-54 where it finished #2 in Adelaide.

The station closed 2020 with its’s best share of the year and has improved on that to start 2021 – up 0.3 points.
This was not enough to overtake any other commercial station, but it’s the continuation of a positive trend for the station that rebranded in 2020.
Breakfast with Bec, Cosi & Lehmo was up 1.6 points and moved up to the #3 commercial breakfast show in Adelaide.
The station is also #3 in the drive slot with Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little’s national drive show replacing Hughesy and Ed.
