Season two of Would I Lie To You? is making its return to 10 and 10 Play.
Viewers can join host Chrissie Swan as she directs two teams captained by comedians Charlie Pickering and Frank Woodley.
Each team will try to hoodwink each other with tall and twisted tales as each story is meticulously investigated. From the outright outlandish to the ridiculously realistic, it’s up to viewers to separate the truth from the fiction.
Each week, a stellar line-up of celebrity and comedic guests will reveal incredible and incredibly bizarre stories about themselves. Some stories, unbelievably, are true; others prove to be nothing more than a fascinating fantasy.
The aim of the game is to fool the opposing team into mistaking fact for fiction and fiction for fact.
In the first look at the new season released by 10, Jacqui Lambie performs her infamous ‘Lambie’ dance move to try and convince the teams of her story. Is she telling the truth?
Last year, Mediaweek spoke to the season one team captain, Chris Taylor, who is replaced by Charlie Pickering, about his time on the show.
When asked what it was like being a team captain, Taylor said, “It felt a bit like having an enormous amount of power over something that’s profoundly silly and inconsequential. So, a bit like being the CEO of Sky News.”
“Scott Morrison was, unsurprisingly, extremely good on the show. I mean, if ever there was a tv show made for Scomo’s skillset, it’s Would I Lie To You,” Taylor said when asked about some of the more surprising stories from the show
Would I Like To You? is based on the popular UK format of the show that airs on the BBC, which is hosted by Rob Brydon with team captains, comedians David Mitchell and Lee Mack.
Would I Lie To You? season two is coming soon to 10 and 10 Play.
