The Women’s Ashes One Day International cricket series will kick off in Canberra on February 3, following the Test and T20s which took place late January.
Canberra’s Manuka Oval will play host to the first ODI, before the two teams head to Melbourne’s Junction Oval for the final two one-dayers on February 6 and 8.
The Australian women’s team only needs to win one of the three ODIs to retain the Ashes, with two of the T20s abandoned due to rain.
The Test match which took place January 27 ended in a draw and helped Australia take a 6-4 lead in the multi-format series.
The ODI series will be broadcast live on the Seven Network and Fox Cricket and streamed online via Kayo Sports. ABC’s Grandstand’s radio will also be playing the radio coverage.
The One Day International series will take place at the following dates and times:
Thursday 3 February: 2:10 PM
Sunday 6 February: 10:05 AM
Tuesday 8 February: 10:05 AM
The Australian squad is led by Meg Lanning and includes the likes of Ellyse Perry, Megan Schutt, Rachael Haynes, and Alyssa Healy.
Seven’s coverage will again be led by cricket’s number one commentary team, which for the Women’s Ashes features Alison Mitchell, Alister Nicholson and Andy Maher in lead commentary.
They are joined by experts Lisa Sthalekar, Holly Ferling, Kirby Short, Emma Inglis, Brad Hodge, Trent Copeland and Isabella Westbury.
Cricket Australia had to bring the start of the series forward to allow both the Australian and England squads enough time to travel to New Zealand and quarantine for 10 days ahead of the ICC Women’s World Cup in March.
Women’s Ashes One Day International, Australia v England will begin February 3 at 2:10pm live and free on Channel 7 and Fox Cricket.
