Seven was a clear Saturday leader again in the TV ratings off the back of the AFL. Seven’s share was down week-on-week though with SBS stealing share points away from the other networks with improved Saturday TV ratings thanks to coverage of the Eurovision Second Semi-Final.

Seven News was narrowly ahead of Nine News with 702,000 across the hour from 6pm. Saturday night AFL was then a winner with 203,000 in Melbourne watching a crushing Western Bulldogs victory. The next best football crowd was on 7mate in Perth where 101,000 thousand watched the Dockers have a narrow win over the Swans.

Nine News got close to Seven News with 696,000 after 6pm.
Space Invaders was on 275,000 after 7.30pm before the movie Jurrasic World did 163,000.

The Dog House was down week-on-week in the TV ratings, just missing the top 10 on 240,000 to be 10’s only primetime entry in the Saturday top 20.
ABC
The Durrells just managed to make it to 252,000 again. It was followed by the second episode of Sanditon on 208,000 after it launched on 259,000 a week ago.
SBS
A repeat episode of The World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys ranked #1 for SBS with 199,000.
Next best was the Second Semi-Final of Eurovision 2021 which helped lift the channel’s Saturday TV ratings share. The audience was 155,000 after 157,000 were watching Semi-Final One on Friday night.
