Total TV ratings Friday November 19
The ABC Friday night double again enjoyed the biggest gains in Total TV ratings data.
The final episode of Annika had a Total TV audience of 706,000 with the overnight number climbing 19%.
Gardening Australia was up 18% on overnights to 781,000 in Total TV.
The audience watching Seven’s Better Homes and Gardens had a Total TV audience of 763,000.

Seven
Seven News again won the evening with both halves of the 6pm bulletin under 850,000.
Better Homes and Gardens featured a walk around host Johanna Griggs’ Huggins Hill Farm in the Hunter Valley. The episode was a timeslot winner with 440,000.
Seven’s Friday movie was the Ridley Scott directed The Martian with 214,000 watching. Scott was the guest on a recent episode of the popular WTF podcast.
Nine
Nine News was again a Sydney and Melbourne winner and had metro network audiences under 800,000.
A Current Affair Friday won the 7pm slot with 587,000, its best recent number after several weeks under 550,000.
Taronga: Who’s Who in the Zoo had a better night too with 386,000 after just over 300,000 last week.
Nine’s Friday movie was the Ben Affleck and Morgan Freeman 2002 thriller The Sum of All Fears with 258,000 watching.

10 News First was on 307,000 at 5pm and then did 209,000 at 6pm.
The 7pm half of The Project was the channel’s primetime best with 276,000, up narrowly on the previous week.
A repeat episode of The Living Room returned to the timeslot with 196,000.
Another repeat followed with the recent Lady Gaga and Rod Stewart episode of The Graham Norton Show on 179,000.
ABC
The biggest audience magnet of the night was the return of a new episode of the British crime drama Endeavour at 8.30pm. The movie length episode was the first of just three in season eight and was directed by star Shaun Evans who has played DC Morse (later promoted to DS) since the series launched in 2012. The episode was on 472,000, easily outperforming the final of last week’s Annika on 374,000.
SBS
The channel’s best was the 7.30pm screening of Inside Balmoral with 186,000 watching.
A repeat screening of Michael Portillo’s Hidden History of Britain then did 123,000.
