Total TV ratings Friday November 12
The ABC Friday night double enjoyed the biggest gains in Total TV ratings data.
The penultimate episode of crime drama Annika was up 24% on the overnight figures to a Total TV audience of 722,000. Preceding it on the channel was Gardening Australia with a climb of 17% from its original overnight to a Total TV crowd of 824,000.
Better Homes and Gardens managed the biggest Friday non-news Total TV audience with 828,000. Although its overnight numbers only edged higher by 4%, it was the impressive Seven Queensland/Prime regional audience of 323,000 that pushed it ahead of Gardening Australia.
10 had two shows lifting their overnight numbers by over 10% – The Graham Norton Show (+12%) and Have You Been Paying Attention? Encore (+11%).

Seven
Both major 6pm news bulletins failed to crack 800,000 last night. Seven News had the biggest audience with 789,000 and 763,000 across the hour.
Better Homes and Gardens then did 437,000 to rank #1 non-news, although the number was down from 472,000 a week ago.
Seven’s Friday movie was The Holiday on 217,000.
Nine
Nine News was a winner in Melbourne across the hour, yet it trailed Seven across the network. The network number was just over 700,000 for the hour.
Friday’s A Current Affair was then on 499,000 after 546,000 seven days ago.
Taronga: Who’s Who in the Zoo held just over 300,000 after 7.30pm.
Nine’s Friday movie was A Few Good Men on 224,000, well below the 370,000 watching Skyfall a week ago, but narrowly ahead of Seven’s Friday movie.

In primetime The Project just managed to crack 250,000 to be the channel’s #1. It was followed by The Graham Norton Show on 243,000.
The channel’s biggest Friday audience though was again watching 10 News First at 5pm with 263,000.
The encore screening of the 2021 final episode of Have You Been Paying Attention? was on 182,000.
ABC
The Gardening Australia audience was down again this week, dipping from 461,000 to 429,000 week-on-week.
The series final of Annika just made the Friday top 10 with 374,000 watching episode six of the Scottish crime drama.
Tea with the Dames was then on 200,000.
SBS
After a feature-length doco on the London Blitz a week ago, the primary channel focused on World War II and the events leading up to it with multiple episodes of Hitler: Countdown to War which averaged 142,000, pushing up the channel’s share week-on-week.
