Overnight TV ratings Friday January 7
No cricket in primetime last night without a Big Bash League game, but it was football that helped win the TV ratings.
The day’s play in the Ashes saw England fighting back after a delayed start to the day. Maybe Jonny Bairstow, the first England player to make it to three figures so far this tour, has cost Australia the chance of winning the series 5-0.
To win this game Australia will have a lot of work to do in the remaining two days where showers are forecast.
Primetime sport on offer last night was tennis on Gem and Go! and the start of the AFLW season on Seven and 7mate. See below for the TV ratings for each.
