Val Morgan Outdoor (VMO) has announced the internal promotion of five team members, in recognition of their outstanding performance.
The five promotions include Sam Staples, QLD state sales manager; Ashleigh Woods, NSW senior account manager; Isabella Keogh, NSW senior account manager; Octavia Bellekens, QLD account manager, and Tayla Harrison, VIC account executive.
VMO’s national sales director Geoff Cochrane said that the promotions reflect their outstanding performance and commitment to the VMO business.
“I’m particularly proud of how the team have pulled together during a tumultuous two years and built a reputation of excellence in market. These promotions recognise their outstanding work, resilience, proactivity and over-service,” he said.
“I am thrilled to support our team and progress their careers. It is a testament to VMO’s commitment to developing internal talent,” Cochrane added.
This comes after VMO celebrated wins at the OMA Annual Industry Awards held in Sydney this week.
The winners included Alex Anthony, group sales manager who won Emerging Leader Award, Octavia Bellekens, account manager who took home won QLD Rising Star Award, and Alec Mowat, who won account manager won NSW Rising Star Award.
In addition to the award winners, Paul Butler, managing director, VMO was co-opted as a non-voting member of the OMA board of directors, tapping into his 25-plus years of senior leadership experience and proven track record of making transformative impacts on organisations.
Butler commented: “It’s an extremely exciting time to be a part of the VMO business – the growth of our network footprint, market-leading programmatic & data capabilities, and our stellar revenue results continue to go from strength to strength.
“I’m delighted that our team are getting the recognition they truly deserve,” the managing editor added.

The Outdoor Media Association (OMA) hosted its Annual General Meeting, followed by an Awards ceremony celebrating the dedicated and talented individuals who contribute to the Out of Home (OOH) industry on Monday.
The refreshed, new annual awards program offers more opportunities to recognise the depth and breadth of Outdoor talent including state awards. In 2021 the OMA also introduced a Hall of Fame award to honour the giants of the industry for their lifetime achievements.
