VML has named Ellie Quinti as the client services director for its Perth office, which will formally launch in February. The move comes with the merge of WPP creative agencies Wunderman Thompson and VMLY&R, forming the unified entity VML.
Quinti’s background includes notable tenures as the customer strategy and engagement manager at JLL WA, as well as leadership roles in marketing teams at Vicinity Centres, 303MullenLowe, IKEA, BankWest, Red Rooster, and Peters & Brownes.
Quinti also serves as a Board Member at AWESOME Arts, a not-for-profit organisation fostering artistic engagement for children from all backgrounds.

Quinti’s appointment closely follows the unveiling of VML’s new market leadership team across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, led by the newly appointed Australia Pacific co-chief executive officers Audrey Kuah and Yi-Chung Tay.

In Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), Tom Tearle, has stepped into the role of CEO, VML ANZ as Gavin Bain, Wunderman Thompson CEO for Australia, moved to the role of VML chief consulting officer, ANZ and managing director, Perth, Australia.
Nimesh Desai, Wunderman Thompson CEO for Singapore, was appointed as VML CEO, Singapore. With Rhys Taylor, VMLY&R managing director, Singapore, taking on the role of VML chief client officer, Singapore, with a focus on ensuring the agency provides its full suite of capabilities to clients.
Samir Gupte, CEO, Wunderman Thompson, Indonesia, has moved into the role of CEO, VML Indonesia. Meanwhile in Malaysia Kenni Loh has takem on the role of CEO, of the agency’s presence in Malaysia.
In the Philippines, Golda Roldan, CEO, Wunderman Thompson, Philippines, has been appointed CEO, VML Philippines. Parattajariya Jalayanteja, has taken on the role of CEO, VML Thailand. Ha Nguyen, VMLY&R CEO, Vietnam, has stepped into the role of CEO, Vietnam.
